Fast Day 40 - Breakthrough After 40 Days - A Prophetic Statement

"From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it." Matthew 11:12

Today is the last day of our 40 days of fasting. The battle continues but we have already seen the victory through Jesus! I encourage you to review these devotional blogs. The Lord might be leading you to fast again. I pray these words have been a blessing to you.

I want to share with you some prophetic words I received in an e-mail from Chuck Pierce. Words that came to Lou Engle. I have never fasted for so long, 40 days. It is interesting that without knowing it many believers around the world are fasting 40 days this year. The Spirit is moving! We have fasted for Spiritual Breakthrough. Real Personal Breakthrough, Renewal at Living Hope and Revival in Trenton. Be blessed by the words below, revival is at hand!!!

"20 years ago I received a defining dream that never leaves me. In the dream I saw the great guns of God going forward into battle but they were held up and restrained by an old man in an old cart. Suddenly a company of soldiers in an amazing act of spiritual violence expelled the hindrance and the great guns of God were released to go to war. Instantly the scene changed and a scroll unfolded before me, and it read, 'In yet 40 days I will send the rain!' I have been working on this 40-day theme for many years now. "

"I believe the 40-day fast is an act of spiritual violence to remove the old and bring in the new. And at this 40 year generational landmark and in this time of worldwide crisis Christ is calling his church into a moment of unified fasting and prayer that could open the way for the outpourings of the rains of revival. I believe we are building even still on Bill Bright's call to fasting in 1995."

Fast Day 39 - It's Time for the Needy & Poor

"For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help.
He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.
He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight." Psalm 72:12-14

This Psalm was written as a prayer for King Solomon. The Jews later considered this Psalm as words spoken about the coming Messiah.

Since Jesus has already come into our lives, we can effectuate the changes in Trenton and around needed to meet the needs of those who are poor and afflicted. As His princes this Spiritual mandate has dared us to fast and pray for breakthrough for our city and county.

The breakthrough means that the cries of the poor will be heard. Their needs will be met. Their lives will be changed, not only physically but spiritually.

We have been placed, for such a time as this, to speak prophetically to the rulers before us. To let them know what God wants them to do, in order to effectively meet the needs of our citizens. Oppression and violence will decrease because the Spirit will provide the answers. We as a church need to listen to Him. We need to pronounce His words to government and social leaders. So they can employ God's plans over our city and county.

The first thing we need to transmit to them is to have the heart of our Lord. With that heart they will see those oppressed as precious and will meet their needs more effectively.

"Father, we pray that You give our Mayor, Governor, Political Leaders, Institutional Leaders, and Community Leaders the heart of Christ. Open the doors for us to speak prophetically into their lives and that these words change them and their actions, so that righteousness and justice may reign as a result of this. We break the territorial spirits of corruption and destruction in the name of Jesus and cast them out of our land. And that the Holy Spirit fill their hearts and the environment. I am in agreement with my fellow brothers & sisters of Living Hope. Together, we believe that Trenton has received the Spiritual Breakthrough we have been asking! Praise Jesus!"

Fast Day 38 - His Kingdom Rules Over Trenton & Beyond! - It's Revival Time!!!

"The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all." Psalm 103:19

We live in the capital of New Jersey. Trenton was the site of George Washington's first military victory. It was briefly the capital of the U.S. in 1784. It is the northernmost city of the Delaware Valley and sometimes included as the southernmost city of the New York metropolitan area.

When we ask why Trenton has so many big city problems we need to go beyond what we see, and into the spiritual realm. Satan has attacked our city because of its influence and position in history. If revival breaks out from Trenton it will effect the region and the nation. The enemy does not want to see happen so he has doubled efforts to make life more difficult in Trenton.

Because we are part of God's kingdom and he rules over all, He has called us to expand His kingdom over Trenton and take back what belongs to Him! We have only begun the battle through these 40 days of fasting and prayer. In the coming weeks we will be learning how to worship and pray in ways that will break these strongholds. The Holy Spirit will be showing us how to re-establish His kingdom in Trenton.

As a result of this: The violence in the streets will decrease significantly, corruption in government and education will be purged, people and youth will be respectful to authorities, policeman will learn the language of love and not aggression and cursing as they employ their duties, businesses will flourish, better homes for the residents will be built, gang members will join churches and be transformed by the Lord, politicians will seek prophetic words from the Lord, people will be healed, others delivered from the enemy, many will give their lives to Jesus and this revival will impact the county, state and nation!

The pastor has gone crazy! Yes, and will you join this craziness? The Lord is calling You!

Fast Day 37 - Transforming Schools in Trenton

"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 11:18-19

We are instructed to teach our children and grandchildren the Word of God at home, in the streets and yes in school. When you teach your children about God's love, mercy, righteousness, justice but these characteristics are not seen enough in school, this is where you need to take action. You are showing your child that these are not just words but that as a parent you are concerned that your child be taught right and that the school environment be good.

Your involvement in the school, building relationships with the teachers and administrators, joining the PTA, going on a field trip and etc.. are very important.

How can little o'l me transform a school? As ambassadors of Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, you can do things in the supernatural that will impact the natural realm. The next time you enter your child's school, pray that you may be used to impact someone there even when you are going to deal with an issue with your child.

While at the school proclaim a blessing over the school, the children, teachers and administration. Bind the powers of the enemy in the name of Jesus. Be listening to the Holy Spirit in you. He will tell you what to pronounce, pray and say as you roam the halls of the school. Imagine if you do this everytime you are at the school what will happen? Believe it or not you will see a difference!!

Next Saturday at the War Memorial, there will be a Parent's Empowerment Summit. As a Christian, your participation and presence there is very important. While there pray over the event and the people. Many of the speakers have been influence by their church background and are Christians. You will be surprised how much you can impact a teacher, and an administrator just in one meeting with them because you will be armed with instructions from God! You will be able to speak His love and truth into their lives. Pray for Lucy, who is on the Board of Education, for wisdom and insight on issues she needs to speak out on.

Revival in Trenton and in Mercer County means that we can change our schools and the level of education without a P.H.D. Because we have the P.owerful H.oly Spirit D.eep inside us! He will give us the words and ways to transform our schools!

Fast Day 36 - Lowering the Murder Rate in Trenton

"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:18

It is true that when we speak the language of love into our environment and upon people things change. Now to cement the spoken word we need to show actions that are backed by the truth of the Word.

In the context of this passage, we are reminded of Cain who murdered his brother Abel. Evil hates Good. John reminds us not to be surprised if the world hates us. Regardless of this we need to show the world the love of Christ. When we do, lives are changed. Believe it or not we can make such an impact in lowering the murder rate by showing our love. In fact we may already have started to make the impact, according to Lil's wonderful illustration and powerful message last Sunday morning.

We are asking for revival in Trenton. Lowering the murder rate and bringing peace into our city is the effect of revival. You and I have a great part in doing this by showing God's love, especially in places where others don't deserve it or expect it. That's called God's Grace. The gift of love. We are God's peacekeepers. The difference with us is that we don't wait for violence to erupt. We show the love of Christ which will prevent violence from happening! We can change the future with our love!!! Love on!!!

Fast Day 35 - How Shall We Then Live?

"It wasn't so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn't know the first thing about living, tell you how to live." Ephesians 2:1-2

Why is it so easy to go back to old patterns, habits and the such? The influences of this ungodly world telling us what to do, what to say and how to live?

Why do you feel like the same person that did not know Jesus?

You have let the old ways creep upon you and control you again. Now you need to let them go. You need to ask forgiveness from Jesus again. This time you need to also renounce the Devil and state in the name of Jesus that you separate yourself from these evil, and controlling influences. You also need to be renewed by the Holy Spirit. Let Him flow in you freely again. This time with more power. Ask Him to fill you.

The Holy Spirit will show you how to live again. No longer will you want or desire that old stagnant way of living and thinking. He will transform you and do it daily.

"Lord I want more of You. I realize that I need You more everyday. Drench me with Your Spirit. You are the reason for me to live. Help me to direct my life with that main purpose in mind and start living in new ways directed by You. Bless You Jesus!"

Fast Day 34 - Spirit-Filled Rebuilding

"They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations." Isaiah 61:4

When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon enough Christians, with His power and love, a city is turned upside down through spiritual and social transformation.

Again we read that Spirit-filled Christians will have the power and authority to rebuild the ruins in the cities and change the destructive environment that residence have lived in all their lives. How is this possible?

When Christians start allowing the Spirit to flow much more in their lives, the things they normally do will change. Not that everything one does is wrong, but when you do things directed by the Spirit, He will show you what needs to be done first. The good things you did in the past will be replaced by the best things He wants you to do in the present. His Spirit will direct you to people and places and you will have the opportunity to impact them and thus impact our city and county! "Fear not, because I am with you." says the Lord. Ask Him and He will show you what to do, where to go and what to say! "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." Luke 21:15 - Wow, Lord!!
